David grew up in the middle of Michigan in a house full of believers. He attended MSU from 2019-2023, during which time he also began to sense an internal call to ministry. David has attended URC since the fall of ’21 and interned post-graduation from ’23-’25. He joined the ministry staff in the fall of ’25 to work to confirm his sense of calling and to continue ministering to and evangelizing college students while pursuing a Master of Divinity at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, MI.

David loves to be used by God to shepherd college-aged young adults, helping them grow in their love and knowledge of our Savior. In his spare time, David will be playing guitar, slowly reading through too many books he’s bought, and cherishing every minute he spends with his beautiful wife, Lily, and their daughter, Clara.
