Church Planting

Spreading the gospel across Michigan through new congregations.

We are committed to planting churches so that more people in Michigan might hear the good news of Jesus Christ, believe, and find forgiveness of sins in him. Church planting is not a side project for us; it is one of the ordinary ways God grows his church and advances the gospel where Christ is not yet known.

By God’s kindness we have been able to partner with pastors and core teams as they establish confessionally Reformed congregations across the state. We rejoice in their work, pray for them, and invite you to visit and encourage these churches.

Malawi Reformation Network

University Reformed Church has a special relationship of support with the Malawi Reformation Network. Together we help raise up pastors so that confessional Reformed churches might take root and flourish in Malawi through theological education and pastoral training.

That partnership has now taken root in a church plant: Christ Presbyterian Church in Blantyre (opens in a new tab).
