Counseling Training Class

Pat Quinn will be teaching one counseling training class — Theology, Practice, and Counseling Issues, combining two classes. The class will meet Fridays from 4:00-6:00 pm beginning Friday October 4.

A brief description of the class:
Theology and Practice: Covers biblical counseling model and methods: e.g. understanding people and their issues, what’s most deeply wrong with us, how the gospel speaks to all of life, a biblical change process, and how we care for and help people change.
Issues: Covers specific counseling issues: e.g. helping hurting people, depression and anxiety, anger and conflict, gender and sexuality, grief and hope, guilt and shame.

This class is open to all and would be helpful for all those who counsel, disciple, mentor, lead growth groups, teach, and do evangelism. The class begins October 4 runs from October through May.
