Give/Serve 2019

URC’s Summer of Service is here! Consider participating in these Give/Serve opportunities:

URC Donut Brunch Ministry Fair, June 2. Join us in the Fellowship Hall following the service for donuts, fellowship and the opportunity to learn more about ministries of URC.

On-Goal Soccer, July 8-14. URC will be hosting On-Goal Soccer camp, we will be providing housing for the coaches and will need volunteers to help provide lunches during this outreach and hospitality opportunity.

VBS Karenni, July 15 – 19. The Karenni people fled political persecution in Burma and began to arrive in the Lansing area around 2009. Their children love attending Backyard VBS. Craft and snack leaders as well as van drivers and sponsors are needed.

Bible Club Deerpath Apartments, August 5 – 9. An evening outreach focused on serving and sharing the Good News with the kids and families of Deerpath Apartments. Volunteers and sponsors are needed.

McDonald Middle School Teacher Outreach, August. Donate items for gift bags to welcome back the teachers at MMS where Dave Hinkley is currently facilitating a lunch hour Bible study.
