Campus Ministry Associate
Miriam Riviera
Miriam attended Michigan State University from 2019-2023, graduating with a degree in civil engineering. During her time at MSU, she became involved in college ministry through Cru and attended URC.
After graduation, Miriam worked as a civil engineer before leaving the field to pursue a master’s in theological studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where she is currently studying. In 2026, Miriam was invited to return to URC to serve in college ministry and young adult women’s ministry.
Miriam loves evangelism and discipleship and is delighted that she now gets to devote her work to both. She especially appreciates URC’s commitment to shepherding, accountability, and faithful stewardship of the Word. Miriam loves Jesus, loves people, and loves seeing women grow through studying the Word. She also really loves being an aunt to her 12 nieces and nephews and counting.
