Women’s Evening Bible Studies

Women of all ages are invited to this year’s evening Bible study options:
Wednesdays: Begins September 22, 2021 (meets 2nd and 4th weeks of the month)
Luke: Good News of Great Joy by Lydia Brownback. This 10-week study explores the theme of joy in the book of Luke, showcasing how the message Jesus proclaimed to the downtrodden, the hurting, and the outsider is still good news to the world today. Meets from 7-8:30 pm in the church library or on Zoom starting September 22. Contact Katie Young to sign up for the in person group or Cheryl McCormick to sign up for the online group.
Thursdays: Begins September 23, 2021 (meets 2nd and 4th weeks of the month)
Romans: A 12 Week Study (Knowing the Bible) by Jared Wilson. The book of Romans is one of the best explanations of the gospel and covers the doctrines we hold dear: original sin, unconditional election, justification by faith alone, sanctification, the sovereignty of God, and union with Christ. Romans was deeply influential in the lives and ministries of such Christian leaders as Augustine, Luther, Bunyan, and Wesley. Join us this year as we seek to understand its message and life-changing effects. Meets at Priscilla Lohrmann’s home (2837 River Pointe Drive, Holt) at 7:00 pm. Contact Priscilla Lohrmann or Penny Imeson to sign up.
